Once a mixed monastery, it became a prison until 1963.
Today, the abbey and its 13 hectares make it one of the largest monastic cities in Europe and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Abbey has also become a privileged cultural place thanks to the Museum of Modern Art.
Opened in 2021, the museum offers a rich collection of 900 works by artists such as Robert Delaunay, Edgar Degas and Germaine Richier.

For this new edition, the route focuses on the history of the Abbey's founder, the monk Robert d'Abrissel, accompanied by light effects, sound effects and video projections.
